I created this series of branding illustrations for award-winning Australian design studio, Studio Chenchen. They commissioned me to be the illustrator of their full branding concept for PUFF PIECE, a small fashion company providing hand-knitted kid-mohair garments.
My brief was to create colourful, character driven illustrations using gouache and water colour on paper. Through ideation and collaboration with the design team, I developed a suite of illustrations featuring bold, soft colour ways. These final artworks, in alignment with the brief, exude a sense of retro fashion teamed with the feeling of thoughtful, eco-conscious lifestyle.
The final three gouache illustrations which were delivered physically as well as digitally, with finishing touches in Photoshop.

I created two custom illustrations for Issue 8 of Grass Fires Magazine, to accompany their feature interview with Tilly Lawless discussing the 2021 publication of her book, Nothing But My Body.
These illustrations were created using ballpoint pen on paper before being translated to digital for final touches and preparation for print.
The illustrations depict Tilly in portrait format, inspired by the promotional image that accompanied her publication announcement and a snapshot style image of her wading naked into the ocean. They aim to capture the author’s boldness, strength, freedom and confidence.
I created this series of branded character designs for Olliesonny Skateboarding, a women-owned and run skateboarding brand and school based in NSW, Australia.
Working collaboratively with my client, I developed four unique characters in alignment with the company’s vision for inclusivity and making skateboarding accessible for everyone. Drawing on the iconic native wildlife of Australia helped infuse a deeper sense of place and playfulness into the final designs, which my client loved.
These character designs were created traditionally using prismacolor pencils on paper, before being digitised for final editing and delivery.
